DJ Drop Zone

This is the DJ sector. We have run successful DJ Projects and under 18's 'safe rave' events for years and in 2014 we built a purpose built DJ booth, the mighty DJ Drop Box. This monstrous structure is build on top of the original Frankenstein Sound System, it�s the main feature in the warehouse now. It�s stands tall and proud waiting for DJs to jump up and play on this big club style platform.

This structure also houses all the DJ equipment, spare lighting and some staging.

We built this purpose built DJ box on the strength and popularity of the DJ workshops and youth events we have run over the years.
Shookz started voluntary DJ workshops for us in 2009 which engaged a lot of young people and started their interest in more DJing.
The DJ workshops continues a few times a year and some of the young people became DJs themselves and started running their own session doing peer to peer DJ workshops. In late 2009 we started our award winning Safe Rave project and some of the young DJs who enjoyed the workshops because resident youth DJs.
